Anne Rice Official Website
The original Interview with the Vampire author, inspiration for goths the world over. She may have gone slightly bonkers around the time she wrote Memnoch The Devil, but we still keep reading her books anyway!
Clare Littleford - Author
I befriended Clare on our postgrad degree course in writing. She once asked me who out of all of us was going to make it first. I told her she would, and I was right! Clare has two crime/psychological thrillers in print today and you can buy them on Amazon.
Food at Fern Cottage
J. and I have a new blog project: a diary of meals cooked at Fern Cottage. Real food made from natural ingredients, low in carbohydrate with a medium (Atkins) to high (Polish Atkins) fat content. Good nutrition and good taste are the foundations of a good diet!

Plant Poisons & Rotten Stuff (the website!)
My food and health website for people with autism, ADHD and fibromyalgia.
Plant Poisons and Rotten Stuff
This is my health blog. I have salicylate, amine, glutmate and additive intolerances which mean I can't eat processed foods, most plant foods, and aged proteins. These intolerances lead me to experience hypoglycaemia, eczema, and fibromyalgia. To combat this I follow The failsafe diet, in conjunction with a ketogenic diet. I also spend a lot of time debunking alternative medicine scams. The blog is part personal journey, and part scientific research.
Poppy Z. Brite Official Website
Better than Anne Rice, and also from New Orleans! PzB is one writer who lives on the wild side, always has something original to say, and just keeps on changing her spots. We love Poppy!
Sarah Davies - Queen of the Four Strings!
My little sister was a bass guitarist in the top pop girlband "Hepburn". You might remember a song called "I Quit" that got to number 8 in the charts and was sung in an annoying cockney accent. Hepburn have long since parted ways, but this is Sarah's website.
Taking Art - Art prints, pictures, posters and paintings
Taking Art have a huge range of inspiring art prints, including popular classics like Salvador Dali and Edward Hopper. I also know them and can recommend them.
Tanith Lee
Lee is a fantasy writer with an extraordinarily prolific output and an enormous breadth of imagination. She's also extremely unlucky when it comes to getting her books to stick on the shelves! As a teenager I read many of her books, and she has inspired me far more than I ever realised at the time.
The Cafepress Fairy Gift Shop - mugs, t-shirts, calendars, mouse mats!
Sue, the lady who makes fairies for this site, has a website that sells mugs, t-shirts, calendars, mouse mats etc, of her fairy designs. They're very pretty and well worth a look!
The Displacement Activity
This is my fun blog where I write about anything and everything that happens to me (often concerning dogs). It's where I waste my time instead of doing any REAL writing.
